
Aketxe Loaned to Cadiz CF

Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC announced Wednesday that the club has sent midfielder Ager Aketxe on loan to Spanish club, Cádiz CF.
"At this time, we feel it's in the best interests of both parties to do this loan," said Toronto FC Sr. Vice-President, Soccer Operations & General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. "Adjusting to MLS is different for everyone and Champions League added a new element in this particular situation compared to a standard preseason. We wish him the best during the loan."
Aketxe, 24, made 14 appearances and added one assist between MLS league play and the Concacaf Champions League this season for Toronto FC. Aketxe joined Toronto FC on February 28 from Spanish club, Athletic Bilbao.
TRANSACTION: Toronto FC send midfielder Ager Aketxe on loan to Cádiz CF.
