On Monday, Dean McAmmond had a goal and three assists and Zach Parise added three assists of his own as Albany outlasted Norfolk, 7-5, in a wild game at the Pepsi Arena... Fredrik Sjostrom scored in regulation and Erik Westrum got the clincher in the shootout as Utah edged Houston, 2-1... On Tuesday, Joe Motzko scored with 39 seconds left in regulation as Syracuse knocked off Milwaukee, 3-2.

LOOKING AHEAD:
St. John's and Hamilton renew their rivalry in front of a national TV audience on Rogers Sportsnet on Wednesday night... The Maple Leafs have won six of the teams' first eight meetings this season, but it was the Bulldogs on the winning end of a 4-2 score on Sunday... That victory moved Hamilton to within seven points of a playoff spot in the North Division... The Leafs' Matt Stajan, Kyle Wellwood and David Ling each have eight points in the season series... Rookie Corey Locke is on a four-game scoring streak (2g, 2a) for the Bulldogs... Hamilton has won four of its last five games at Copps Coliseum.
Manitoba spends a Wednesday nigth in Wilkes-Barre, where the Penguins have won four of their last five home games... The AHL's 69th season began on Oct. 13 with these two teams in this building, and the Moose taking a 6-3 decision behind Jason King and Jimmy Roy with two goals and an assist apiece... The teams also split a pair of shootouts in Winnipeg last month... Wade Flaherty, who led Milwaukee to a Calder Cup championship on Wachovia Arena ice last June, is 7-2-1 with three shutouts in his last 10 decisions for the Moose... Dany Sabourin has allowed exactly one goal in six of his seven AHL starts with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season.
Utah, 4-1-0-1 in its last six home games, entertains Houston at The "E" Center on Wednesday night in the finale of a four-game homestand... The Grizzlies' 2-1 win over the Aeros on Monday was their sixth shootout victory of the season... Jamie Storr is 3-1-0 with a 1.48 GAA and .960 save percentage since joining Utah in a deal with Springfield... Houston is 7-for-21 (33.3%) on the power play in four games against the Grizzlies this season... Houston enters play with a three-point lead over Grand Rapids and San Antonio in the race for fourth place in the West Division.
