AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Peoria Rivermen forward Matt Foy has been suspended indefinitely, pending league review, as a result of his actions in a game at Houston on Jan. 23.

Foy received a game misconduct under AHL Rule 70.6 for leaving the players' bench during an altercation.

In addition, the American Hockey League announced that Lake Erie Monsters forward Tom Fritsche has been suspended indefinitely, pending league review, as a result of his actions in a game at Norfolk on Jan. 23.

Fritsche received a game misconduct under AHL Rule 70.6 for leaving the players' bench during an altercation.
