Head Coach Andre Smith wanted a his man and got him Wednesday as 6'2 guard Will Burr agreed to terms with the Aftershock. Burr, fresh off a 28 point effort in the championship game at the ABA Summer Pro League, provides another potent weapon for Coach Smith and his already deep Aftershock team.
Burr, can play several positions and is a natural leader. "His basketball awareness makes Will a coach on the floor" Smith stated, and Burr is "one of the premiere long range shooters in the ABA" Smith added.
Burr, averaged 20 points in the ABASPL, and had 38 points in one game against Utah last season in the ABA. Smith went on to say "Will wakes it difficult to defend inside and out against us, so we become smarter with him on the floor."
