Atlanta Vision News Release
Atlanta, GA. The ABA Atlanta Vision professional basketball team announced that Kevin Whitted would be the new Head Coach for the 2005-2006 season. "This year marks our first full season in the ABA and we are building a winning organization," stated Atlanta Vision owner Quentin Townsend. "Kevin has attributes the Vision wants in a coach: basketball knowledge, consistency, professionalism, and a desire to go to the next level."
Kevin Whitted began his basketball journey by surpassing Michael Jordan as an all-time leading scorer for E.A. Laney High School. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and now resides in Smyrna, GA with his wife.
"Kevin is deal to lead our championship organization on and off the court," adds Atlanta Vision General Manager, Dennis Scott. "This season is sure to bring George basketball fans Atlanta Vision excitement."
