DareDevils add Terry Sellers to list of training camp recruits

October 12, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Niagara Daredevils News Release

St.Catharines, Ontario - October 12, 2005 Terry Sellers, who had never played ball in high school, had a late growth spurt that launched his basketball career. The 7'2" 220 lbs centre was a hot commodity after playing one year at Compton Community College, where his team won the California Association of Community Colleges state championships. His JUCO success lead to several big- time schools chasing after him, including University of Rhode Island, University of Hawaii and the school that received his letter of intent, Iona College.

After college, Sellers went on to be drafted into the NBDL for its inaugural season, but ended up playing in Europe instead. He has since played with the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs of the USBL and the Boston Frenzy of the ABA. His rebound and blocking abilities will surely be an asset to the DareDevils this season.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
