Daredevils Edge Newark Express, 118-116

November 20, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Niagara Daredevils News Release

St. Catharines, Ontario: The Niagara Daredevils edged the travel weary Newark Express 118-116 in a close battle. Both teams lead at several points during the game but the Daredevils never looked back in the fourth quarter despite a valiant effort by the Express. Joe Buck and Matt Luedtke after slow starts in the first two games showed way coach Hailey has shown confidence in the duo. Matt Luedtke showed his precision three point shooting skills and Joe Buck was very strong under the boards.

Eric Walton had another outstanding game along with guard Majestic Mapp who displayed his ability to control the pace of the game.

The young Daredevils now 2-1 appear to be gaining strength and confidence, will be joined by veteran star James Penny for this coming weeks away game against the Rochester Razorsharks and at home for next Sunday's U.S/ Canada Border battle against the Buffalo Rapids
