(Trenton, NJ)- After a 1 hour 55 minute rain delay in the 4th Inning, Trenton came out and scored five runs, including a three-run homer by C Jason Brown, in a 7-1 win over Akron on Thursday night.
Akron (64-41) had a 1-0 lead before the rain delay in the bottom of the fourth. Aeros 3B Pat Osborn delivered an RBI single off Thunder starter Phil Hughes in the 2nd Inning. Hughes didn't factor in the decision as he allowed one run and two hits over four innings with eight strikeouts.
