After Big OT Win Blizzard Will Travel to Peoria

Last week's overtime win moves Green Bay into the sole possession of second place in the American Conference Midwest Division. The Blizzard were in a two way tie going into the game, but positioned themselves at the division forefront with Forstrom's overtime game winning feld goal against Quad City. This puts the Blizzard in close contention with Iowa each sitting at 4-1 in divisional play.
The Blizzard will travel to Peoria to take on the Pirates this Saturday, June 6th. Peoria and Green Bay last met two weeks ago as the Blizzard decisively handled the Pirates with a 55-34 home win. Peoria is coming off a tough loss at the hands of Iowa losing 77-40 and falling to 2-7 overall. The all-time series with Peoria is in the Blizzard's favor at 5-2, with Green Bay winning the last 5 games of the series.
The Blizzard will be on the road for two weeks, returning home on Friday, June 19th to square off against the Tulsa Talons. The world famous Klement's Racing Sausages will be featured and it's "Buck Night" with $1 beer, soda, and hot- dogs.
