Houston Aeros News Release
HOUSTON (OCTOBER 8, 2011) --- Houston Aeros President David Burke today announced that the American Hockey League team has launched a revamped website at Aeros.com.
"We built the new Aeros home on the web to be easier and more intuitive to use while still providing fans with great content as it relates to the team," Burke said. "The Aeros have been at the forefront of using social media like Twitter and Facebook to engage our fans and our goal is for the redesigned Aeros.com to complement that."
Already, fans will have an easier time accessing upcoming game and promotional info from the homepage as well as a streamlined Team Shop portal. The new site will continue to roll out an integrated ticket buying system that will allow fans to purchase game tickets with fewer clicks.
Aeros.com was designed via collaboration between the Aeros communications department and Infinity Pro Sports, a web development company based in College Station, Texas. Infinity has hosted the team site since 2002.
The regular season home-opener for the Aeros is set for Sunday, Oct. 9 versus Chicago at 5:05 p.m. Aeros single-game tickets are on sale now at the Toyota Center Box Office and online at Aeros.com.
