PINE BLUFF, Ark. - The Arkansas Aeros rebounded from their second loss of the season on Sunday to down the Arkansas RiverCatz 130-112 Friday night in American Basketball Association action at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
After a loss to the Texas Tycoons on Sunday, the Aeros, the No. 1 team in the most recent ABA Power Rankings, got 34 points from Curtis Haywood and 31 more from Daryan Selvy to put away the No. 8-rated RiverCatz (8-4).
The win allowed the Aeros to complete a 4-1 road trip. They return home to the All-Star Sports Arena on Sunday for a meeting with the Houston Undertakers.
The loss snapped the RiverCatz win streak at five. The team last lost Nov. 22 in Springdale to the Aeros. They were led Friday night by Kareem Reid's 32 points and 14 assists.
The RiverCatz take to the road Wednesday where they will face the Undertakers in Houston.
