
Admirals Sign Five to PTOs

Milwaukee, WI-The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that they have signed forwards David Moss, Adam Payerl and Andrew Yogan, defenseman Mike Ratchuk, and goalie Dov Grumet-Morris to professional try-out contracts.
Moss is a veteran of over 500 NHL contests and spent last season with the Arizona Coyotes, compiling 12 points on four goals and eight assists for 12 points. The Livonia, MI native has totaled 178 points (78g-100a) and 157 PIMs in 501 career NHL games with the Coyotes and Calgary Flames. He last played two seasons in the AHL with the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights.
Payerl, Yogan, and Ratchuk are all under contract with the Admirals ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones. Yogan skated with the Clones last season, recording seven points (2g-5a) in just four games. He had eight goals and an assist in 43 contests with the San Antonio Rampage.
Payerl and Ratchuk spent last season in the Pittsburgh Penguins system, with Payerl accounting for a pair of goals and seven assists in 41 games for the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Ratchuk skating in 28 games for the Wheeling Nailers, totaling 11 points (2g-9a).
The Admirals opened camp today with their first practice of the season and will continue camp in anticipation of the regular season opener on Saturday, October 10 practices are scheduled to take place at the Kern Center and the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Practices that take place at the Kern Center are open to the public, while practices at the BMO Harris Bradley Center are not.
The Admirals will play two pre-season games, beginning Friday, October 2 against the Rockford IceHogs at 7:00 pm at the Kern Center. Tickets are $10 and fans can order advance them in person at the Admirals office at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave or via phone at (414) 227-0550. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Kern Center the night of the game.
Milwaukee will conclude their pre-season schedule the following night, Saturday, October 3rd when they take on the Chicago Wolves in Chicago. Ticket information for that game can be found at www.chicagowolves.com .
