Admirals Shut out by Crunch

NORFOLK - Dustin Tokarski stopped all 22 shots he faced as the Norfolk Admirals (14-16-1-0) lost to the Syracuse Crunch (21-7-2-3), 3-0, on Friday night at Norfolk Scope Arena. The same teams square off again tomorrow night at Scope at 7:15 p.m .

Richard Panik opened scoring with a power play goal 2:28 into the contest. Tyler Johnson scored with a slap shot from the left point 14:50 into the first period to make the score 2-0. Keith Aulie closed out scoring 17:04 into the final frame with a one-timer goal.

Frederik Andersen (7-8-0) st opped 26 of 29 shots for Norfolk.

Norfolk was 0-for-6 on the power play. Syracuse was 1-for-3.
