Admirals Partner with WHKT 1650 AM the Answer for 2014-15 Season

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that the team has reached an agreement with WHKT AM 1650 The Answer to broadcast all 76 regular season games of the 2014-15 season. The Chesapeake radio affiliate will air all Admirals' 2015 Calder Cup Playoff games as well as the weekly "Admirals' Hour" with Pete Michaud and Dennis McEwen from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. each Tuesday.

Last season, 1650 The Answer aired Admirals' games as well as 1490 AM The Game. This season, 1650 is the sole broadcast frequency for Norfolk Admirals hockey. Listeners can also hear the "Voice of the Admirals," Pete Michaud, on tunein.com. Search 'WHKT 1650 AM' to listen at home or on-the-go.

Hockey returns to the Norfolk Scope Arena on Saturday, October 11, when the Admirals open the 2014-15 regular season versus the Hershey Bears.
