Milwaukee, WI --This week the Milwaukee Admirals (36 Games Played, 21-13-1-3-44 points, 3rd place Midwest Division, 7th place Western Conference, 14th place AHL) will go on the road for back-to-back games starting Wednesday night in Hamilton (38 GP, 17-16-1-4-39 points, 3rd place North Division, 11th place Western Conference, 23rd place AHL) and Thursday night in Lake Erie (39 GP, 18-19-1-1-38 points, 4th place North Division, 12th place Western Conference, 25th place AHL).

After A two day break the Admirals will continue the trip at Rockford (15-21-1-3-34 points, 5th place Midwest Division, 15th place Western Conference, 30th place AHL) Sunday afternoon before concluding the four game trek Tuesday morning at Peoria (40 GP, 20-17-2-1-43 points, 5th place Midwest Division, 8th place Western Conference, 15th place AHL). The start time for that game is 10 A.M.

Tonight's contest against the Bulldogs will mark the first of two meetings this season. Last year Milwaukee and Hamilton split the season series, with the Admirals taking a 3-2 decision at home on Jan. 9 before losing 5-4 in overtime on March 2 in Ontario. Over the past five years Milwaukee owns a 6-3-1-0 record against the Bulldogs, who are coming off of a North Division leading 44-27-2-7 record last season and an appearance in the Western Conference finals.

Thursday night's game in Cleveland will mark the third matchup in eight games for Milwaukee against the Monsters. In the teams' first meeting on Jan 6, Milwaukee scored a 6-3 victory. At the 14:55 mark of the second period Admirals forward Kyle Wilson (Oakville, Ontario) contributed the game-winning goal on the power play, while goaltender Anders Lindback (Gavle, Sweden) picked up his first win of the season with Milwaukee. This past Sunday Lake Erie countered with a 3-2 overtime victory, knotting the season series at a game apiece. Former Admiral Hugh Jessiman's power play goal at 4:10 of the extra session proved the difference.

Sunday afternoon's game at Rockford will mark just the fourth of 12 meeting this season between the Midwest Division rivals. Milwaukee leads the series 2-1-0-0 to this point, taking the last game 7-3 at home on Dec. 30. Admirals forward Mark Van Guilder (Roseville, Minnesota) contributed the game-winning goal at 15:46 of the second period, while goaltender Jeremy Smith (Dearborn, Michigan) made 24 saves to earn the victory. Rockford won the last battle between the two teams at the BMO Harris Bank Center, scoring a 4-2 decision on Dec. 17.

Tuesday morning's contest at Peoria will mark Milwaukee's only A.M. game of the season, and the eighth game of the season series between the Rivermen and Admirals. Milwaukee won the first five matchups, all in regulation, before Peoria countered with wins in the teams' most recent two games, including a 4-2 home victory over Milwaukee on Jan. 8. Rivermen forward Brett Sterling scored the game-winner at 19:12 of the first period, while Peoria goaltender Jake Allen stopped 33 pucks to earn the victory. Admirals goaltender Atte Engren (Rauma, Finland) allowed all three of the Rivermen's non-empty net goals, before Smith shut the door the rest of the way.
