
Admirals Add Cook, Rey, Pinkston Recalled

NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators, announced the signing of defenseman John Rey and forward Max Cook on Tuesday afternoon.
Rey, 25, appeared in 37 games for the Knoxville Ice Bears in the SPHL last season tallying 12 points (4g, 8a) in his first professional season. In nine games with the Birmingham Bulls (SPHL) this season the Turnersville, NJ native has four points (2g, 2a). Prior to turning pro Rey spent four seasons at Robert Morris University appearing in 95 games putting up 34 points in addition to a plus-17 rating.
Cook, 27, joins the Admirals from the Fayetteville Marksmen (SPHL). The forward is currently fourth in the SPHL in scoring with 15 points (4g, 11a) and tied for fourth in assists (11). A fourth-year pro, Cook has appeared in 134 career SPHL games recording 61 points (21g, 40a).
In another move defenseman Rick Pinkston was recalled to Milwaukee. Pinkston has appeared in 17 games netting two assists for the Admirals.
Both Rey and Cook will be available when the Admirals travel to Jacksonville to take on the Icemen this weekend.
