Florida's MacAulay Named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

MacAulay scored two goals and assisted on three other for five points in three games at Norfolk last week.

The 25-year-old recorded a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win on Wednesday, added two assists in a 3-1 victory on Friday and added a goal in a 3-2 overtime loss on Saturday.

A native of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, MacAulay has 16 points (8g-8a) in 18 games with the Everblades this season.

Selected by the St. Louis Blues in the sixth round (164th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, MacAulay has totaled 37 points (18g-19a) in 53 career ECHL games with Florida and Wheeling while adding eight points (3g-5a) in 47 career American Hockey League games with Springfield and Hamilton.

MacAulay tallied 70 points (24g-46a) in 68 career games at St. Mary's University while also picking up 155 points (71g-84a) in 280 career games in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Saint John and Halifax.

On behalf of Stephen MacAulay, a case of pucks will be donated to a Florida youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 37,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
