
Adkins, Aldrete Hit Homers, Volcanoes Beat Eugene 8-1

In the bottom of the fourth inning, after Eugene makes it 2-1, Aldrete hits his first home run over the right-field wall to make it 3-1.
Two batters later, Adkins hits a home run over the wall in right-center, scoring Beicker Mendoza to make the score 5-1.
Three batters later, Alex Canario hits a sacrifice fly to center field that scores Jeff Houghtby to make it 6-1 Volcanoes.
In the bottom of the eighth, Houghtby hits an RBI double that scores Adkins and makes the score 7-1 Salem-Keizer.
The next batter, Canario, hits his own RBI double to left field that scores Houghtby and makes it 8-1 Volcanoes.
The Volcanoes will start a 4-game home series against the Tri-City Dust Devils with Conner Nurse making his third start of the season against Connor Lehmann.
