
Adam Lewis added to Komet roster

Fort Wayne, IN â The Komets announced today that veteran center Adam Lewis has been added to the team roster and may appear in Komet games at Motor City and Kalamazoo this weekend. Lewis' apearance will mark his 3rd straight stint with Fort Wayne.
Last year Lewis posted 9 goals, 31 points and 103 penalty minutes in 73 Komet games during his 6th pro season. Lewis started his career in 1998 with Birmingham of the ECHL after completing 3 seasons in the OHL.
Lewis, 26, was a member of the 2003 Colonial Cup champion Komets and hails from Kitchener, Ontario.
In additional player transactions, the Komets also announced that goaltender Tyler Masters and defenseman Shane Kenny have been removed from the injured reserve list and re-activated to the Fort Wayne roster.
Komets on the road this weekend.....the Komets will play 2 road games this weekend starting Friday night at Fraser, Michigan, against the Motor City Mechanics at 7:30. Saturday the Komets travel to Kalamazoo to face the Wings at 7:30pm. Next week the Komets skate at Muskegon Friday, Feb. 4 at 7:30pm before returning home to host the Quad City Mallards Saturday, Feb. 5 at 7:30pm.
