LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Friday they have signed 2007-born defenseman Carsen Adair to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.
Adair, 15, was selected by the Hurricanes in the third round (55th overall) in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft. The Clavet, SK product spent the 2021-2022 season with the Martensville Marauders U15 AA team skating in 28 games registering 34 points (8g-26a) along with 44 penalty minutes.
The 5'11, 150-pound rearguard added three points (1g-2a) in six post-season games with Martensville. Adair led the Marauders in defenseman point scoring in the regular season, finishing fourth overall points and tied for sixth in team goals. He also finished tied for 10th in league scoring among blueliners.
Adair is the fourth player from the 2022 WHL Draft to sign with the Hurricanes following Will Sharpe, Koen Cleaver and Kash Andresen.
