RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces return home Saturday night for a four-game series against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, featuring a bucket hat giveaway on Saturday and Youth Baseball and Softball Day on Sunday.
The Aces kick-off their second homestand of the season Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Sky Sox with reversible bucket hat giveaway night. This new giveaway item, a bucket hat that is blue on one side and white on the other, will be given out to 2,500 lucky fans at Saturday's game.
Sunday afternoon's 1:05 p.m. game is the first Youth Baseball and Softball Day of the season. Players from four local leagues will be on hand for a pregame parade, in addition to having the opportunity to meet and interact with Aces players and coaches before Sunday's game.
Saturday and Sunday, the Aces are proud to continue the "Kids Run the Bases" program presented by Dr. David Welmerink, the Ace of Braces. After every Friday, Saturday and Sunday game, all children 12 and under are invited to run the bases on the Aces Ballpark infield.
Monday's game begins at 6:05 p.m., while Tuesday's game will be another 1:05 p.m. matinee. Starting May 11, the Aces will be rolling out 50-cent hot dog days during select Tuesday home contests throughout the season.
