
Aces Play Host to Nashville, Memphis for Eight-Game Homestand

RENO, Nev. The Reno Aces play host to two new teams beginning Wednesday night, as they welcome Nashville and Memphis to Aces Ballpark for the first time for an eight-game homestand featuring fireworks and giveaways.
The homestand opens Wednesday night at 7:05, as Reno welcomes the Nashville Sounds to Aces Ballpark for the first time. Nashville and Memphis will be the final two Pacific Coast League teams to make their first appearance at Aces Ballpark.
Thursday night's 7:05 p.m. contest is Irish Night, where fans can purchase a special Irish Night ticket for just $11. This $11 package includes a ticket to the game and an Aces/Irish Night flatcap. Fans need to purchase this special ticket at RenoAces.com and use the promotional code irish.
Thursday is also the penultimate Coors Light Thirsty Thursday"! of the season, with $2 Coors and Coors Lights until the fifth inning.
Friday marks the final Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KOLO 8 of the 2010 season. Fans are invited to stay after the 7:05 p.m. game to enjoy a special fireworks display.
In addition, kids 12 and under are invited to run the bases after every Friday, Saturday and Sunday game. "Kids Run the Bases" is presented by Dr. David Welmerink, Ace of Braces.
For Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game, fans can purchase Family Four-Packs presented by Sunny 106.9. For just $44, fans receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas, with the opportunity to upgrade to Outfield Reserved tickets for just $16 more.
Also during Saturday's game, Tito Fuentes and Vida Blue will be signing copies of "Baseball Legends and Legacies" for $40, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Reno Aces Foundation.
Before Sunday's 5:05 game, 1,500 fans 12 and under will receive a Reno Aces youth chest protector backpack presented by Dillard's. In addition, Sunday is the Aces' Back-To-School Material Drive. Fans are asked to donate school supplies, which will go to the Children's Cabinet, a local non-profit that provides services to children in need. Fans that donate school supplies will receive raffle tickets which will be good for Aces-themed prizes.
The homestand comes to a close with a Wednesday afternoon game, beginning at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday's game will be the final day game of the season.
Wednesday, August 11, is also the date for the Aces Charity Dinner at Bugsy's Sports Bar and Grill. For just $65, fans get a ticket to the game and a four-course meal of ribs, nachos, an entre and complimentary beer, wine and soda. Aces manager Brett Butler and Aces players will serve as waiters for this dinner, with all proceeds and tips benefiting the Reno Aces Foundation. To make reservations, call Amanda at (775) 334-7002.
