Wild Wild West:

The Aces narrowly escaped its six-game set with the Las Vegas Aviators with a split series after defeating the visiting team, 9-7, on Tuesday afternoon. With the win on Sunday, Reno moved to 11-7 against Las Vegas this year. The Biggest Little City's team has yet to lose a series this season, going 6-0-4 through 10 six-game slates.

Henry Ramos extended his multi-hit streak to four games with a 3-for-3 performance at the dish with a pair of runs scored. The Aces' right fielder put forth a 9-for-17 showing (.529) in the six-game slate, with a trio of RBIs and three tallies.

Seth Beer led all Aces with seven runs scored and nine RBIs against the Aviators, going 8-for-24 (.333) at the dish.

Getting Miggy wit It:

Miguel Aguilar picked up his three saves against Vegas, pushing his season total to 11, closing out the series with a perfect ninth and a strikeout The right-hander totaled four innings of work against the team from Summerlin, allowing only one earned run on four hits with four strikeouts.

The Aces' closer is one save away from moving into a four-way tie for eighth place in franchise history for the single-season record for saves, joining Matt Stites (2014) and Jimmie Sherfy twice (2016, 19).

In his seven appearances in July, Aguilar is a perfect 6-for-6 in save opportunities, leading all relievers in Minor League Baseball. The right-hander has allowed just one earned run on four hits in seven innings of work since the start of the month.

Just the Two of Us:

For the first time this season, the Oklahoma City Dodgers and the Aces will square off in a six-game set, marking the first series between the two squads since Aug. 10-13, 2019. Oklahoma City and Reno split the four-game set, 2-2.

Five of the Dodgers' top 30 prospects will be featured in the week's matchup, including No. 1 Kiebert Ruiz and No. 2 Josiah Gray. In 41 contests, the Dodgers' catcher is batting .287 with 31 runs scored and 32 RBIs to go along with 24 extra-base hits.

Gray has put forth an 0-1 record with a 1.64 ERA and 15 strikeouts in three starts.

Justin Bruihl will take the mound opposite Aces' starter Josh Green. In his first season at Triple-A, Bruihl is 3-0 with a 5.79 ERA in 11 games out of the bullpen. He will be making his first start.

The Dodgers' pitching staff has boasted a third-best ERA of 5.16 in Triple-A West while opponents are hitting just .264 against them. Oklahoma City's Austin Bibens-Dirkx leads Triple-A with seven wins this season.

Kevin Quackenbush leads the MiLB's top level with 13 saves this season while not allowing an earned run in 23 appearances out of the bullpen.

Party Starter:

The Aces dominate late in games, posting stellar numbers in the seventh inning or later with a Triple-A-leading .318 batting average, 170 runs, 222 hits, 37 home runs and 41 doubles.

With its Minor League-leading 170 tallies after the sixth frame, the Biggest Little City's team has 35 more runs than second-best Carolina with 145.

Ritchie and Beer have been hot in the late innings, combining for 45 hits in 127 at-bats (.357) to go along with 31 RBIs and 40 runs scored. Beer's 25 hits and 23 runs scored in the seventh or later sit atop the Triple-A West leaderboard while Ritchie sits behind the first baseman with a third-best mark of 17 runs scored.

Reno paces all of Minor League Baseball when trailing with a .308 batting average, 174 runs scored and 252 hits.

In the eighth inning alone, the Aces are batting .328 with a MiLB-leading 66 runs scored.

Lalli's squad reclaimed its top spot in Minor League Baseball with 46 runs scored in the ninth inning while boasting a second-best .330 batting average, trailing only Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (.340). Reno's 46 tallies in the final frame sit just behind the Houston Astros with 47.

Boom! Shake the Room:

The Aces' bats remain atop of professional baseball with a .296 batting average, sitting one point ahead of second-best Sacramento (.293).

Reno fell back into second place in the Minors with 444 runs scored, sitting seven runs behind the Tampa Tarpons (451).

Drew Ellis' 19 doubles rank just behind his fellow corner infielder and league leader, Beer (21), good for third in Triple-A. The Aces' cornermen moved into a tie for sixth place at MiLB's top level with 30 extra-base hits. In games that Ellis hits a home run, Reno holds a 6-3 record.

Jamie Ritchie continues to rake at the plate, ranking second in Triple-A with a .371 batting average and a league-leading .497 on-base percentage.

The Aces have been dominant in the second half of contests, boasting a 10-4 record in games they come back to tie the game by a deficit of three or more runs.
