Reno Aces News Release
RENO, Nev.- For the third-straight season, the Reno Aces made a $15,000 donation to the Nevada Dugout Club during the annual exhibition Tuesday night between the Aces and Wolf Pack at Aces Ballpark.
With Aces pitchers on the mound for both teams, the Wolf Pack squad earned a 7-3 victory in a contest that lasted seven-and-a-half innings. The game was played in traditional Spring Training format.
Now an annual tradition, a portion of the proceeds from the exhibition were donated to the Nevada Dugout Club, which benefits the Wolf Pack baseball program.
The Aces kick-off the 2012 season on Thursday night at Aces Ballpark. Reno native and star of NBC's "The Voice" Whitney Myer will perform the National Anthem, and the club will unveil its 2011 Division Championship banner. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased at the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office, by calling (775) 334-7000 or visiting RenoAces.com. Fans are encouraged to pick-up their tickets for all of Opening Weekend in advance.
