Storm Chasers Add Four to Roster

PAPILLION, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers officially added four players to their roster on Monday night. With the additions of Francisley Bueno, Tommy Hottovy, Kevin Kouzmanoff and Max Ramirez, the Storm Chasers' roster is at 26 players. A corresponding move will be made prior to Opening Night to trim the roster down to the league maximum of 25 players per team.

Francisley Bueno is projected for a role as a starting pitcher after posting a record of 7-5 with the Sultanes de Monterrey of the Mexican League. Joining Bueno on the pitching staff will be reliever Tommy Hottovy. Hottovy spent parts of 2011 in Double-A Portland, Triple-A Pawtucket and in the Majors with Boston.

Third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff has played in the Majors with Cleveland, San Diego and Oakland. He spent the majority of 2011 in Triple-A Sacramento where he batted .302 with 13 home runs and 58 RBI in 61 games. Max Ramirez will play catcher, first base and be the designated hitter for the Storm Chasers in 2012. In 698 career Minor League games, Ramirez carries a career average of .296 with 90 homers and 449 RBI.
