July 13, 2004 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
Aces News Release
New Haven County finishes the first half guaranteed at least a tie in the South division after a 2-0 win over the Aces; if New Jersey loses either game of the doubleheader versus Elmira tomorrow, the Cutters will win the first half. If New Jersey sweeps, the two teams end up tied and there will be a one-game playoff to determine the winner. Jordy Alexander pitched seven shutout innings, and Darren Ciraco was 3-for-4 for the Cutters. The Aces finish the first half 9-37.
