Aaron Myers pitched a gem for his fifth win of the season as New Jersey defeated the Aces 6-2, giving manager Joe Calfapietra his 200th career win in professional baseball.

Myers went seven innings and allowed two unearned runs on four hits while striking out seven, with relievers Craig Breslow and Lou Wieben finishing off the Aces in the final two innings. The Aces went up 2-0 after the first inning, but the Jackals came back with three in the fourth and three more in the seventh for the victory. CF Zach Smithlin, 1B Kevin Grijak and DH Scott Goodman each had two hits for New Jersey.
