
Aces Announce Upcoming Promotions

RENO, Nev. - Aaron Hill, in continuation of his Major League Rehabilitation Assignment, and the Aces will return to Reno Tuesday for the last eight games of the month, highlighted by giveaways, fireworks, and discounts. First pitch for each game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., except for Sunday and Tuesday the 25th (1:05 p.m.).
Hill, a two-time Silver Slugger Award® winner (2009 and 2012), became the second player in the modern era of Major League Baseball to hit for a pair of cycles in a season, when he accomplished the feat last June.
The Aces kick-off the homestand Tuesday, with four games against the Fresno Grizzlies. The Giants' top affiliate will be making their final visit to Reno of the 2013 season. Fans can take advantage of 2-for-$22 Tuesday presented by KTVN Channel 2 News, by purchasing two general admission tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for only $22. The 2-for-$22 ticket package can be purchased by calling (775) 334-7000 or visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office.
Bargain hunters can take advantage of another great deal the next night with Dollar Wednesdays presented by KTVN Channel 2 News, featuring $1 hot dogs throughout the game.
Thursday evening marks another Coors Light Thirsty Thursdays⢠presented by New West Distributing, ESPN Radio 94.5 FM and Reno News & Review. Fans can enjoy $2 beer specials through the middle of the fifth inning. Aces Ballpark will also host Irish and Celtic Night, featuring live Irish music at the Freight House District. Fans with special Irish Night tickets will receive Outfield Reserved seating and a commemorative Irish coffee mug. Friday's game brings Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KRNV News 4 back to the ballpark, with fireworks immediately following the game. The San Jose Giants' (Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Giants) mascot Gigante will be on hand to greet fans. The second Faith Night of the season will take place, featuring live music, and appearances by Aces players. Fans can also purchase a special ticket package for only $36 for Daddy-Daughter Date Night that includes two Outfield Reserved tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas and an autographed pink mini-bat. Additional packages can be added, and fans will also have the chance to watch the post-game fireworks show from the field. On Saturday, the Aces will begin a four-game series against the Tucson Padres, and 2,000 lucky fans will receive an Archie All-Star Garden Gnome presented by KOLO 8 News Now.
Sunday afternoon's contest marks another Renown Children's Hospital Family Funday, featuring baseball bingo.
Monday evening is another Margarita Monday presented by Alice @96.5, featuring half-price margaritas.
The series wraps up Tuesday afternoon with the second 2-for-$22 Tuesday of the homestand.
