Aces Announce Friends & Family Dates

Anchorage, Alaska â Back by popular demand, the Anchorage Aces have released their 2002-03 "friends and family" dates at Sullivan Arena.
The popular promotion includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, a PowerAde tee shirt, a PowerAde key chain, and a PowerAde puck. The lower mezzanine package can be purchased for $60 (a savings of $38), while general admission seating along with the "friends & family" package costs only $40 (a savings of $34). The dates are listed below:

Sat. Dec. 7 vs. Bakersfield
Sat. Jan. 25 vs. Fresno
Sat. Feb. 22 vs. Idaho

The Aces are looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to help with game day operations. No experience is necessary, although good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality are required. Applicants should be available to work home games throughout the 2002-2003 season.
The club also is searching for an especially fun, outgoing person to be the off-ice mascot affectionately known as "Boomer". Responsibilities will include making appearances around Anchorage and applicants should be able to work during the day and be comfortable wearing a full body costume. On the ice, the Aces are busy preparing for the first of two "blue and white" scrimmages Friday night at 8:00 p.m. at Tesoro Sports Centre. The second intrasquad game is set for Saturday evening, October 5th, at 6:00 p.m. in Wasilla at Brett Memorial Arena.
