
Bombers Take Storm in Home Exhibition

Andrew Williamson and Ryan Vince, both members of the Dayton Bombers' 2002 Northern Conference Playoff Championship squad, each tallied two goals to help the team top the Toledo Storm 5-3 in a "Kids'" Day Exhibition Game held at the Nutter Center early Wednesday.
Jamie Ling scored the other Bombers' goal and had an assist. Defenseman Jonathan Gauthier finished with two assists, while Vince also had a helper. Rookie Olivier Dannel stopped 22 shots in goal for the Bombers. The team finished 2 for 9 on the power play.
Later on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., the Dayton Bombers will be conducting a "Town Hall Meeting" open to fans, season ticketholders, and corporate partners/local businesspeople in the Nutter Center Berry Room.

The team will begin its 12th season of ECHL play at the Nutter Center on Friday, October 11 (7:30 p.m) against the Johnstown Chiefs. The Bombers, who will play at Toledo in another exhibition game at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, will be unveiling their 2002 Northern Conference Playoff Championship and 2002 Northwest Division Title banners at a pre-game ceremony at the home opener.
