Aces Announce Academy Sports & Outdoors Free Youth Clinic Saturday

Alexandria, LA; July 14, 2011 - The Alexandria Aces have announced that this Saturday, July 16th, Academy Sports & Outdoors will be sponsoring a Youth Baseball Clinic, with instruction from Aces' players and coaches. The clinic is free and will take place at the MacArthur Drive Academy Sports & Outdoors Store in Alexandria.

Those interested in attending the clinic can pre-register at Academy Sports & Outdoors, or registration will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. The clinic will begin at 10:00 a.m and end at 12. All youth that participate in the clinic will be given two tickets to the Aces' game that night against the Victoria Generals on Academy Sports & Outdoors Cap Night at Bringhurst Field. The Aces and the Generals will start at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.

The first 500 people through the front gate at the Aces' game that night will also receive an Academy Sports & Outdoors Cap, courtesy of Academy Sports & Outdoors. Academy will also be giving away $450 in gift certificates to lucky winners during Saturday Night's Game.

The Aces return home this Friday and Saturday to face the Victoria Generals for a two-game series before the All-Star Game and break next Monday and Tuesday. The Aces are trying to obtain a playoff spot for the 2011 TCL Playoffs. Come out and show your support for the Aces this weekend.

Come out and enjoy the Aces' with a group of your friends.
