Aces Announce Academy Sports & Outdoors Cap Night Saturday, July 16th

Alexandria, LA; July 14, 2011 - The Alexandria Aces have announced that this Saturday, July 16th, the Aces will be taking on the Victoria Generals on Academy Sports & Outdoors Cap Night at Bringhurst Field. The Aces and the Generals will start at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.

The first 500 people through the front gate will receive an Academy Sports & Outdoors Cap, courtesy of Academy Sports & Outdoors. Academy Sports & Outdoors will also be giving away $450 in gift certificates for lucky winners during Saturday Night's Game.

Academy Sports & Outdoors is also sponsoring a Free Youth Baseball Clinic at the Academy Sports & Outdoors MacArthur Drive location in Alexandria Saturday morning. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. with the clinic starting at 10 a.m. Kids can also sign-up for the camp early by going to the Academy Sports & Outdoors store. Kids will also receive two free tickets to the Aces' game Saturday evening by participating in the clinic that will be instructed by Aces' coaches and players.

The Aces return home this Friday and Saturday to face the Victoria Generals for a two-game series before the All-Star Game and break next Monday and Tuesday. The Aces are trying to obtain a playoff spot for the 2011 TCL Playoffs. Come out and show your support for the Aces this weekend.
