A Homestand 60 Years in the Making

Kinston, NC - Party like it's 1949 as the K-Tribe celebrates 60 years of Historic Grainger Stadium with an Anniversary Celebration! Kinston is home Tuesday, July 7th through Sunday, July 12th.

It begins on Tuesday, July 7th as Kinston native and NBA All-Star Jerry Stackhouse comes to Grainger Stadium! The former Tar Heel will be available to sign autographs for all of his fans! It is also Diabetes Awareness Night as we will help raise awareness for Stack's Triple Threat Foundation. Tickets are just $2 as it is Two Dollar Tuesday, with $2 reserved seats, burgers, beer and soda! Game time 7pm against the Frederick Keys, the Advanced A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.

Wednesday, July 8th is Military Appreciation night where all Military (active and retired) and their family get in for free. Game time 7pm.

It is another Thirsty Thursday on July 9th featuring $1 beers and sodas! Game time 7pm.

On Friday, July 10th a celebration 60 years in the making takes place at Historic Grainger Stadium (1949-2009)! The 60th Anniversary Party features the K-Tribe players wearing throwback Kinston Eagle Jerseys (available for purchase through a silent auction the night of the game), fireworks and a salute to the Negro Leagues! The NC Education Lottery will also have a booth to keep the party going. Game time 7pm against the Potomac Nationals.

The party continues the next night on Saturday, July 11th as a Scout the Mascot Bobble Head will be given away to the first 1,000 fans. Game time 7pm.

Another anniversary will be celebrated to end the homestand with Anchor Insurance Agency's 10-year Anniversary on Sunday, July 12th. Anchor Insurance Agencies will be giving away 500 free tickets for the game in their Greenville and Kinston locations (limit two tickets per customer). The 2 pm afternoon game features a pre-game autograph session and post-game kids run the bases!

Reserved seat tickets are just $4 for students, seniors and the military for every game at Historic Grainger Stadium. General Admission for the general public is just $5; reserved seats are only $6 all season long. Parking is always free.
