A friendly wager between Stealth and Steamwheelers

Wichita, Kan. - The stakes for this weekend's match-up of #1 versus #2 just got a little higher after the two franchise operators made a friendly wager over the telephone this afternoon.

If the Wichita Stealth win, they will receive Quad City offensive specialist Jeff Hewitt's helmet and Quad City operator Jim Foster will have to wear a Wichita Stealth shirt all next week.

If the Quad City Steamwheelers win, they will receive Stealth quarterback Aaron Sparrow's helmet and Wichita operator David Key will have to wear a Quad City Steamwheelers shirt all next week.

"There is a lot at stake in this game," said Stealth operator David Key. "We just wanted to make it a little more interesting."

The Stealth and Steamwheelers will be meeting for the sixth time in af2 history with the Steamwheelers winning four of the five previous contests.

STEALTH NOTES: Fans in Wichita can listen to the game live this Saturday night beginning at 7:15 p.m. on 96.3 KRZZ FM. Fans may also listen to the Quad City Steamwheelers broadcast at www.steamwheelers.com.The Stealth will conclude their three game road swing next Saturday, May 22nd when they travel to Oklahoma City. A bus trip for Wichita Stealth fans has been scheduled for the games in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
