SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired guard Blake Ahearn out of the NBA D-League available player pool.
Ahearn, 30, was named the 2008 NBA Development League Rookie of the Year while also being selected to the 2008 All D-League Second Team. "Blake is a proven player in this league that can shoot the ball exceptionally well," said head coach Casey Hill. "We value a veteran presence that can add to our team's momentum at this point in the season. Blake has seen a ton of success in this league and is great addition to the Warriors."
