Trestman Launches Motivational Biography
May 26, 2010 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal, May. 26, 2010 - Montreal Alouettes Head Coach Marc Trestman is pleased to announce the launch of his motivational biography, PERSEVERANCE: Life Lessons on Leadership and Teamwork.
In this new book, the Canadian Football League's 2009 Coach of the Year tells his life story all while challenging readers to reach new heights which they may never have thought possible to attain. Trestman shows that through hard work, commitment and a positive attitude, anyone can overcome any obstacle or adversity in life and truly... persevere.
Prior to winning the Grey Cup with the Alouettes in 2009, Trestman worked closely with many NFL greats, notably Jerry Rice, Steve Young and Rich Gannon. Over a career in which he coached with eight different NFL clubs and two NCAA Division I teams, the current Alouettes' coach has seen the best and worst of times as it relates to winning and losing at the highest levels of the game.
The book will be on sale exclusively at Chapters-Indigo bookstores in Canada as of May 28. Proceeds benefit the Marc and Cindy Trestman Foundation for Alzheimer's research.
Journalists are invited to a pre-launch press conference at the Indigo location at Place Montreal Trust, located at 1500 avenue McGill College in Montreal on May 28 as of 12:30 p.m. Fans are then welcome to meet Coach Trestman starting at 1 p.m., when he will be signing his book at the same location.
