
Eskimos Host 2010 Fan Day

(Edmonton) As the Edmonton Eskimo kickoff the 2010 Training Camp on Sunday, June 6th, the football club will be hosting the 2010 Fan Day. Fans old and young are invited to Clarke Stadium to get the first look at the 2010 Edmonton Eskimos while enjoying in some great food and entertainment.
The day begins at 10:30am as the team goes into their second session of the back-to-back practice. The Eskimo Pep Band will be performing periodically throughout the day while practice is in session while the Eskimo Cheer Team will be making their rounds visiting with fans, stopping for autographs and pictures and selling the 2010 Eskimo Cheer Team playing cards. Ticketmaster and Game On Sports will be on location to assist Eskimo fans with any ticketing or merchandise needs. Punter, Nanook and Earl from 2010 Hot to Huddle Grey Cup Festival will be making their rounds visiting with fans and stopping for pictures. Everyone's favourite, Boston Pizza, will be on-site with prize give-a-ways. The See Your Game photo booth will be set up again this year for fans to have an opportunity to have their pictures taken and inserted into a real Eskimo action shot.
Complimentary beverages provided by Coca-Cola, ice cream supplied by Chapman's and tasty brat;s provided by Johnsonville will be available to fans. Johnsonville will be collecting donations for the Michael Cuccione Foundation with proceeds going to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
New to Fan Day this year is the 13th Eskimo Sign. A huge banner will be set up for fans to sign their "Go Eskimo Go" words and their names. This banner will then be permanently placed on the fencing below the 13th Eskimo flag at Commonwealth Stadium. This is a chance for fans to immortalize themselves on a piece of stadium décor.
And of course Fan Day wouldn't be the same without the team autograph session to follow practice. The entire team will be available to the fans at the conclusion of practice to sign autographs, meet with the fans and cap off what is to be another great Eskimo Fan Day.
