Earthquakes Trade Jovan Kirovski to Los Angeles Galaxy in Exchange for a Conditional Draft Pick

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the team has traded forward Jovan Kirovski to the Los Angeles Galaxy in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2010 Supplemental Draft.

Kirovski played nine games for the Earthquakes in 2009 after arriving in a midseason trade from the Colorado Rapids. He made one start for San Jose. A foot injury in June caused him to miss six matches.

The Escondido, Calif. native returns to Los Angeles, where he began his MLS career in 2004. He played two seasons with the Galaxy before moving to the Colorado Rapids at the end of the 2005 season.
