Pock gets Wolf Pack

New York, October 25, 2007 -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that defenseman Thomas Pock has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Pock, 25, has skated in one game with the Rangers this season. Overall, he has registered seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 59 career games for New York. Last season, he achieved career-highs in games played (44), goals (four), assists (four), and points (eight). The 6-1, 210-pound defenseman has also appeared in 121 career contests with Hartford (AHL), collecting 16 goals and 52 assists for 68 points, along with 156 penalty minutes. During the 2005-06 season, the Klagenfurt, Austria native set a Hartford franchise record for most points by a defenseman in a single season with 61 points (15 goals and 46 assists) in 67 games.

The Rangers are in action tonight, October 25, when they will face off against the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden (7:00 PM).
