Aeros to host "Old Time Hockey with the Hanson Brothers"

HOUSTON, Texas - The Hanson Brothers of the acclaimed 1977 classic hockey movie, Slap Shot, are scheduled to attend the March 15, 2008 Houston Aeros' 7:35 p.m. game versus the Rockford IceHogs. The Hanson Brothers were the core three on a failing ice hockey team which finds success using constant fighting and violence during games.
Jeff Carlson, Steve Carlson, and Dave Hanson: the real-life hockey players whose sensitive performances as the "Hanson Brothers" helped make Slap Shot one of the top sports films of all time. The Hanson Brothers will be on the ice entertaining fans with their wild antics that first appeared during their professional careers and made famous by the movie.
In addition to their on-ice activities, the Hanson Brothers will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans throughout the Toyota Center.
