
AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Hartford Wolf Pack forward Lauri Korpikoski has been suspended for one (1) regular-season game as a result of his actions during an AHL game at Toronto on Oct. 21.
Korpikoski was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline) for high-sticking an opponent during the second period of the game.
Korpikoski will miss Hartford's game on Friday (Oct. 26) vs. Springfield.
