NEW ORLEANS, LA (May 14) - Frank Schwindel and Paulo Orlando each hit home runs in the 9th inning, giving the Storm Chasers a 4-2 win over the Baby Cakes on Monday night at The Shrine On Airline.

Omaha plated a run in the top of the 2nd, as Ryan O'Hearn singled, Cam Gallagher doubled, and Paulo Orlando brought O'Hearn home with a groundout for a 1-0 lead.

Trevor Oaks made that tally stand up over his 5.2 innings; he allowed no runs, 2 hits, and 4 walks, while striking out 2.

Adam Conley was outstanding for New Orleans, pitching 8 innings and allowing just 1 run, 5 hits, and 1 walk; he struck out 3.

Richard Lovelady pitched 1.1 innings of scoreless relief, but the Baby Cakes tied it in the bottom of the 8th against rehabbing Major Leaguer Justin Grimm .

After retiring the leadoff hitter, Grimm walked JT Riddle, who then stole 2nd. Tomas Telis singled Riddle home, evening the game at 1-1.

Frank Schwindel immediately gave Omaha the lead again in the top of the 9th, taking Joe Gunkel (L, 0-1) deep for a leadoff home run; it was his 6th of the year, and it put the Chasers ahead 2-1. Cam Gallagher re-started the rally with a single, and Paulo Orlando crushed a 2-run homer to make it 4-1.

Mike Broadway (W, 2-0) recorded the final out of the 8th inning, and finished the game in the 9th. He allowed a run on a triple by Austin Dean and a double by Aaron Nola, but recovered to record the final 3 outs, confirming Omaha's 2nd consecutive victory.

The Storm Chasers (14-24) will conclude the series in New Orleans tomorrow morning. RHP Jon Dziedzic (1-4, 2.95) will pitch for Omaha, while RHP Zac Gallen (3-1, 2.57) will toss for the Baby Cakes. First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM Central Time.
