Tri-City Storm News Release

KEARNEY, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm and Classic Hits 98.9 FM are pleased to announce that another game will be added to the regular season broadcast schedule. The Storm's game at Sioux Falls on January 9th will air on 98.9 FM with the Viaero Wireless Pre-Game Show starting at 6:50pm.

The game was not originally scheduled to air on the radio, but the Storm, Classic Hits and Platte River Radio arranged an agreement to broadcast the game, so fans can listen to all 30 road games on the radio this season.

"Craig Eckert, KKPR and the staff at Platte River Radio have been great partners with the Storm this season," said Director of Media Relations/Broadcaster Skip Berry. "It means a lot that they have gone out of their way to put Storm games back on the radio."

In addition to airing a majority of regular season games, Classic Hits 98.9 FM will air all playoff games should the Storm be in the Clark Cup Playoffs this season.

The next three games for the Storm will be on Classic Hits 98.9 FM, including tonight's New Year's Eve game at home against Sioux Falls. The Viaero Wireless Pre-Game Show will air at 7:50pm.

The Storm will be on the road New Year's Day in Des Moines and in Sioux City on Saturday (Both games Pre-Game Shows will air at 6:50pm).
