Napheesa Collier led the Lynx tonight with a team-high 18 points on a season-high 77.8% (7-of-9) from the field, 2-of-3 from the three-point line and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Collier added a team-high-tying five rebounds and four assists in 31:12 minutes of the game.
In 23:57 minutes on the night, Diamond Miller finished with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists. Tonight marks the fourth 15+ point game of Miller's career.
With her first three-point shot that opened the game, Kayla McBride officially surpassed Cappie Pondexter for 18th all-time for three-point field goals made and now sits with a total of 467. She finished with 11 points while shooting 4-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
Nina Milić continues her strong play off the bench, finishing the night with a season-high 14 points on 6-of-10 from the field, a season-high five rebounds and a career-high-tying two steals. Milić last grabbed two steals on June 7, 2022 at New York.
Lynx Notes
Tonight marks the seventh time the Lynx' three-point field goal percentage (56.3%) was better than both their two-point field goal percentage (48.2%) and free throw percentage (53.3%). The last time this occurred was on June 10, 2009 against Los Angeles when Minnesota shot 60% from the three, 47.1% from the two-point range and 52.2% from the free throw line.
Aces Notes
Kelsey Plum had a strong game, ending the evening with a career-high and game-high 40 points, two rebounds and four assists in 30:40 minutes.
Next Game
The Lynx will play one more game before the All-Star Break when they take on the Dallas Wings on Wednesday at Target Center. Tip is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT and will air on Bally Sports North Extra, Twitter Live and Meta VR.
