67's Set to Host Teddy Bear Toss Game December 15th

OTTAWA - It will be raining teddy bears and all of their stuffed friends on Saturday, December 15 as the Ottawa 67's host the annual Teddy Bear Toss game at the Arena at TD Place at 2 p.m.
A longstanding tradition around the holidays, the game has brought in toys and smiles for kids in need since 2000.
Fans will be invited to toss their new or gently used stuff toys onto the ice following the first 67's goal of the game against Owen Sound. Santa Claus will also be in the building for the game and there will be Christmas carols to be heard and sung on site.
In partnership with The Brick, the 67's will be selling Brickley Teddy Bears at the entrance for fans to throw on the ice after the first Ottawa 67's goal of the game, with proceeds from the Brickley bears going CHEO. The rest of the toys will be collected and distributed to kids in need.
Last season's Teddy Bear Toss goal scorer for the 67's was Peter Stratis. The only player on the current roster to ever have cause the avalanche of teddy bears to be thrown out on the ice at TD Place is forward Austen Keating, who scored the famous first goal of the game during the 2015 edition of the Teddy Bear Toss, as a rookie.
