OTTAWA - The Canadian Hockey League announced on Monday that Ottawa 67's forwards Marco Rossi and Jack Quinn were selected to the 40-man roster that will take part in the 2020 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, which will be played on Thursday, January 16 2020 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Every year, all the CHL's top prospects for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, held in June, are selected to two separate teams in order to play a game where a huge number of NHL scouts attend. Last season, 67's Graeme Clarke and Nikita Okhotyuk took part in this famous game, before being both selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Okhotyuk was picked in the second round (61st overall), while Clarke heard his named called by the same club as his teammate in the third round (80th overall).

This season, Rossi and Quinn have both been dominant forces for the Barber Poles. Rossi has been putting up points at an incredible rate of 2.33 points per game, with 56 points (18G, 38A) in 24 games played. As for Quinn, the Cobden native has already beaten his totals from last season, with 33 points (18G, 15A) in 29 games. Both are seen as top prospects ahead of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, which will be held in Montreal on June 26th and 27th in Montreal, Quebec.

Before the 67's head to Christmas break, Rossi, Quinn and the rest of their teammates will have to face the Generals on the road on Friday, December 20th in Oshawa. The next time 67's fans will be able to see their team in action inside The Arena at TD Place will be on Sunday, December 29th, when the Barber Poles host the Peterborough Petes in an afternoon clash.
