67's Forward Shaw Boomhower Receives 12-Game Suspension

OTTAWA, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Ottawa 67's forward Shaw Boomhower has received a 12-game suspension following the review of an incident in last Wednesday's game (February 14) against the Kingston Frontenacs. Boomhower will eligible to return to the 67's lineup Thursday, March 15 when the 67's visit the Barrie Colts.

The incident reviewed was a match penalty assessed to Boomhowever for checking to the head.

The 67's will begin a five-game road trip starting Thursday night in Windsor followed by stops in London (Feb. 23), Kitchener (Feb. 25), North Bay (Mar. 1) and Hamilton (Mar. 2) before returning home on March 4 to host the London Knights at 2 p.m.

67's single-game tickets start at $12 and are available at Ottawa67s.com/Single-Game-Tickets, by calling 613.232.6767 or in person at The Box Office at TD Place. All minor hockey players part of the 67's Prospect Program get in for FREE.
