67's Are Eastern Conference Champions After Overtime Win, Sweep of Generals

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's will fight for an OHL Championship after Tye Felhaber's overtime winner gave the Barber Poles a 2-1 overtime win in Game 4 and a 3-0 series sweep over the Oshawa Generals on Wednesday night.
Felhaber was the hero two times over in this one as the overage superstar scored the tying goal with 33 seconds left in regulation before firing home the winner just 20 seconds into overtime.
The 67's have now equaled an OHL record with 12 wins to start the playoffs.
The 67's #NoQuit attitude was on full display in this one as the 67's battled from the opening face-off. Rookie Tye Tullio scored the go-ahead goal for Oshawa early in the second but that would be it until Felhaber's late score as neither team was willing to give an inch.
Mikey DiPietro was perfect after Tullio's goal and finished with 21 saves. Kyle Keyser was outstanding in goal for Oshawa, frustrating the 67's throughout regulation and finishing with 42 saves.
The 67's will now face the winner of the series between the Guelph Storm and Saginaw Spirit for the right to represent the OHL in the 2019 Memorial Cup.
Game notes
The 67's have not been shutout once this season, including regular season and playoffs. That's a span of 80 games.
Wednesday's game was just the third time in the post-season the 67's have scored fewer than five goals.
After going goalless in the first round, Felhaber now has 11 goals in eight games since.
Sasha Chmelevski assisted on both goals in Game 4.
Noel Hoefenmayer led the way with 7 shots for the 67's.
