67's Acquire Centre Jacob Maillet from Spitfires

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have made another deal with the Windsor Spitfires, acquiring overage forward Jacob Maillet, in exchange for four draft picks in future Ontario Hockey League Priority Selections.

Maillet, 20, is a veteran of 224 OHL games, split between the Spitfires, and Guelph Storm. The Dundas, Ontario product has suited up 37 times with Windsor, this season, scoring 12 goals and 20 assists, for 32 points.

"Jacob Maillet is a responsible two-way, playmaking forward," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "His addition increases the amount of skill, offence, and experience in our lineup."

Drafted in the second round, 39th overall, by Guelph in 2019, Maillet has racked up a career statline of 47 goals, 98 assists, and 145 points, with just 34 penalty minutes during that span.
