66ers Hire Former Cowboy, Promote Schreiner

TULSA, Okla., March 2, 2007 - The Tulsa 66ers announce today that Daniel Bobik, a former OSU Cowboy, has been hired in the new position of Director Ticket Sales for the Tulsa 66ers, and Jennifer Schreiner has been promoted to Director Corporate Sales.

Bobik joins the 66ers just two weeks after Jono Helmerich was named team president. Bobik most recently worked in the business development department at Bank of Oklahoma. Before that, Bobik played professional basketball in Germany for Trier after graduating with a bachelor's degree in business marketing from OSU. Bobik also played at Oklahoma State University for the Cowboy basketball team. As a starter, Bobik led OSU to a Big 12 Tournament Championship and then to the Final Four in 2004. In 2005, Bobik led his team to a back-to-back Big 12 Tournament Championship and a berth in the Sweet 16. Bobik is married to Natalie and they have two children, Jaxton (4) and Blaykli (10 months).

"Our goal is to be more effective in meeting the needs of our sponsors and season ticket holders," said Helmerich. "We hired Bobik and promoted (Jennifer) Schreiner to secure an infrastructure of staff to better serve our fans."

Promoted within the company is Jennifer Schreiner, the new Director Corporate Sales. Schreiner joined the Tulsa 66ers in June 2005 as an account executive. Just a short six months later, Schreiner was promoted to Senior Account Executive for her outstanding performance in sponsorships and ticket sales. Prior to joining the 66ers, Schreiner worked fro Tyler Media Group in Oklahoma City as a radio sales representative. Schreiner graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast and journalism, with an emphasis in advertising. Schreiner's husband, Adam, works for Williams in Tulsa.

"We will be developing new initiatives which will benefit the community and ensure the long-term viability of 66ers basketball and the NBA in Tulsa," said Helmerich.
